We support groups who want to analyze a situation of their interest, draw their own conclusions, and work together for improvement. This can be at a workshop or a seminar, or through a longer process.
An expertise is in supporting farmers, extentionists and researchers, analyze farm situations and collaborate on researching and improving the livelihoods and productions of the farmers. These Participatory learning and action research (PLAR) processes may be short or last for several years.
Today we are facilitating a PLAR process on development of Agroforestry in Sweden including participating farmers, gardeners, researchers, civil servants and teachers. The aim of this group is to develop agroforestrysystems and evaluate their potential in combining high productivity of provisions and at the same time as managing resources well and generating ecosystem services, in Sweden.
